Space and specularity (1975-1980)

Dora Bassi’s artistic relationships with Boriani, exponent of kinetic art, and with Giancarlo Marchese, protagonist of Italian abstract sculpture, guide her towards a plastic composition, articulated over neat surfaces as if they were a series of blades, pervaded by an intense search for light: a research that finds its apex in the structures with mirror inserts and with the series of mirroring sculptures.
